Obedience Training
At The Elite Dog, we offer two levels of obedience training tailored to your dog’s needs. Our Basic Obedience program focuses on essential commands with on-leash training, while Advanced Obedience builds on this foundation with off-leash skills and real-world distractions. All dogs must complete Basic Obedience before moving on to Advanced, ensuring a strong base for success.
Behavior Modification
Our Behavior Modification program addresses specific issues that may need extra attention, even for dogs with basic obedience training. Whether your dog struggles with leash pulling, barking at other dogs, or other targeted behaviors, we provide focused training to help them improve in these areas
Therapy Dog Training
At The Elite Dog, we specialize in therapy dog training—a rewarding journey that prepares your dog to bring comfort to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, disaster areas, and more. We start by evaluating your dog’s temperament to ensure they’re suited for this role, then guide them through step-by-step training to build the skills needed to become a compassionate therapy dog.
Puppy Obedience
Our Puppy Obedience program begins with Puppy Kindergarten for puppies aged 8 to 12 weeks, focusing on potty training, crate training, and simple basic commands. After 12 weeks, puppies are ready to move on to their first level of on-leash obedience. Puppies start learning the moment they enter your home, so setting them on the right path early helps prevent unwanted behaviors down the line.
