About Betsy - Dog Training Services

My journey with dog training began over 13 years ago, following a successful pet-sitting business that sparked my curiosity to do more. I wanted a new challenge and a deeper understanding of canine behavior, so I took the leap and attended a professional dog training school. After completing my initial certification, I committed to ongoing education—attending advanced training sessions twice a year to stay current with the most effective and humane methods of obedience training and behavior modification.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of training hundreds of dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments—from playful puppies to mature adults, as well as service, protection, and therapy dog training. Today, I specialize in obedience training, behavior modification, and therapy dog development, using a balanced, results-driven approach tailored to each dog’s unique needs.

I’m proud to be a bilingual trainer serving South Florida, fluent in both English and Spanish. Outside of training, you can usually find me paddle boarding with my dog or relaxing at the beach, exploring nature trails, or adding to my growing collection of rare tropical plants. I share my home with three beloved dogs—Gia, my Mini Aussie; Ellie, my Pug; and Gigi, my micro Teacup Yorkie.

We understand that every dog is unique, which is why we offer individualized training plans that cater to the specific needs of each dog and their owner. Our trainers specialize in obedience training and behavior modification, working closely with you to develop a tailored approach that also supports therapy dog training when needed.
